We are looking for a front-end / dashboard / web-app developer to help us build a user interface for a rapid-response flood monitoring network we're delivering under an SBIR grant for the U.S. Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Sensor networks are already installed in five states, we have a cloud full of time series data, and we have a minimal user interface dashboard. We need someone to do a more professional front-end that meets the needs of system maintainers, emergency managers, first responders, and local citizens. Profiency with: HTML, CSS, Javascript, jquery, JSON, web services, server side frameworks (graphql, node.js/Express), responsive front-end css and javascript frameworks (Bootstrap, Bulma, angularJS) Experience with: SQL db (PostGRESQL), timeseries db extensions, AWS cloud services, open source UI tools for mapping (OpenLayers, Leaflet), charting (Chart.js,Flot), user management, alerts and messaging. Specific Experience is a Plus: Experience with open source dashboards and weather APIs is a plus. Experience in delivering production web applications (500+ users) using a contemporary JavaScript framework Experience with real-time messaging protocols such as MQTT Experience with mobile applications a plus
