iOS Software Engineer

Our beautiful offices are located in SoMa San Francisco.##Skills & Requirements- You have 3+ years of professional experience developing software for the iOS platform- You have experience with both Objective-C and Swift, both separately and together on the same project- You have a experience working with and designing RESTful APIs- You are well-versed in Auto Layout and can build complex layouts using UIKit- You have experience with Core Data and other forms of persistent storage- You are on top of the latest iOS updates and understand new technologies as they become available- You invest time into your team members through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and code reviews- You are a problem solver with a passion for well-implemented solutions##How You'll Fit In- You'll collaborate with a team of product managers, designers, QA, and other developers to drive mobile projects from beginning to end- You'll be included in decision-making, and will weigh in on balancing factors like scope, complexity, and timing- You'll develop clean, modular code that can be reused across multiple apps for iPhone and iPad- You'll encourage growth within the team by participating in mentorship and thorough code reviews- You'll help keep our apps robust by monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting bugs every week##Bonus Points- You have experience with newer architectures and technologies like MVVM, ReactiveSwift, ReSwift, Realm- You have experience writing unit tests using XCTest and OCMock- You have experience with Cocoapods for dependency management- You have experience with monitoring and improving app performance- We would love for you to show evidence of your work - preferably open-source contributions on Github or live apps in the App Store##A Little About Us- Our iPhone and iPad apps are written with a mix of Objective-C and Swift 3+- We run an in-house APN server to track, customize, and deploy push notifications to our users- We run and maintain our own Jenkins build server to make testing and releases as seamless as possible- Our mentorship program ensures you're immersed in the team's culture early on- We are open to integrating 3rd-party libraries, and we use many such as AFNetworking, AlamoFire, SwiftyUserDefaults, etc- We contribute to the community as well as our team by open-sourcing some of the useful parts of our apps- We host unstructured "hack days" periodically, which is time reserved for you to scratch a code itchMore details about our engineering stack.
